DEPUTY SHERIFF  -      NO OPENINGS AT THIS TIME

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  All applicants must have or be able to obtain Missouri P.O.S.T. certification by appointment date.  All applicants must complete a written test, oral interview, physical agility test, psychological examination, and physical examination.   Salary is $32,808.00 per year plus benefits to include, but not limited to, health and dental insurance for employee, life insurance, retirement benefits, holiday and sick days. Shift work is required. Residency within Jefferson County is required.

CORRECTIONS OFFICER -    NO OPENINGS AT THIS TIME

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  All applicants must complete a written test, oral interview, psychological examination, and physical examination.  Salary is $26,732.00 per year plus benefits to include, but not limited to, health and dental insurance for employee, life insurance, retirement benefits, holiday and sick days.  Duties include monitoring of inmate activity as well as booking functions.  Shift work is required.

CLERICAL  -                        NO OPENINGS AT THIS TIME

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  All applicants must complete a written test and oral interview.  Salary is $20,049.00 per year plus benefits to include, but not limited to, health and dental insurance for employee, life insurance, retirement benefits, holiday and sick days.  Numerous clerical positions exist to include secretarial, data entry, and receptionist.
Some Positions require shift work.

TRANSCRIBER  -                NO OPENINGS AT THIS TIME

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  All applicants must complete a written test, oral interview, and typing test.  Salary is $22,480.00 per year plus benefits to include, but not limited to, health and dental insurance for employee, life insurance, retirement benefits, holiday and sick days.  Position entails transcription of Officer's reports from a dictation device.
Some Positions require evening and weekend hours.

RESEARCH ANALYST  -          NO OPENINGS AT THIS TIME

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.  All applicants must complete an oral interview.  Salary $31,000.00 to $36,000.00 (depending on qualifications) per year plus benefits to include, but not limited to, health and dental insurance for employee, life insurance, retirement benefits, holiday and sick days.  This is a contractual position based on a year-to-year basis, and is subject to renewal annually.
