Sheriff Oliver “Glenn” Boyer reports that on 1-16-08 deputies responded to 1400 Cole Road in Festus, Missouri for a home invasion. At approximately 2130 hours, two white males contacted the homeowner (who was a coin dealer) at his residence. The homeowner recognized the subject, as he had purchased coins from him approximately five months prior. The suspect requested to use the phone, and suggested his car was broke down on Highway 61.

 

The victim handed the suspect the cordless phone, and then closed the door, but did not lock it. While the victim walked through the kitchen, the suspects entered through the unlocked door, confronted the victim and his wife. One suspect flourished a weapon, and threw the victim’s wife to the floor. The male victim was tied up. The suspects stole a large sum of money from a bank bag inside the residence. The victim is a coin dealer that frequently buys and sells coins. 

 

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified one suspect as:

 

 

Donald Oldag 34 years of age from St. Mary, Missouri.
